Manifesting Interaction

Introduction to generative and interactive design | Transformation Design 2.1 | 2025/2026

As you research your artistic language, you explore the tools that mediate it. In Manifesting Interaction you learn to generate images and design their interaction, forming an understanding of fundamental compositional and computational principlesβ€”which you can apply to the mediation of your manifesto.

In Transformation Design 2.1, you learn the methods of interactive audio visual design; from composing, remixing, manipulating images, to scripting their interaction with your audience. This course provides the framework for you to develop your own (interactive) manifesto.

The course is composed of 12 classes: 5 on visual programming, 5 on sensing machines, and 2 feedback sessions. The classes include tutorials, weekly exercises, and contact moments reserved for support.
